Visitor’s question: How do I add the widget to my site?
Answer from Flow: You can add the widget to your site by pasting a single script tag before the closing body tag. You can copy the snippet to paste directly or send it to a developer with one click.
Sources/install
Ask Flow yourself and compare. The chat is in the bottom-right corner.
Works anywhere you can paste one line
Click a question and Flow, our AI assistant, answers live in the corner: the same chat you would embed on your site, reading only our docs and pricing. The first words usually appear after about 1.1 s (median, measured 8 October 2026).
Each answer links its source page. On your site, that’s one of yours.

This question deliberately falls outside what Flow has read.
No developer, no integration.
01
We read your pages and FAQ. Uncheck anything you’d rather skip.
02
We draft a greeting and three starter questions. Edit them however you like.
03
Or send it to a developer with one click. The dashboard confirms the first load.

Your assistant answers only from what you connect here. Start with your website, then add what isn’t on it.
Your pages and their subpages: products, prices, FAQ, delivery and returns. We follow your sitemap and respect robots.txt.
What isn’t on your site: opening hours, complaint rules, the things your team just knows. Paste the text, Markdown works.
One question, one exact answer, for what customers ask word for word.
Price lists, terms, manuals and menus as PDF, Word, Excel or CSV. We read scans and photos too, on every plan.
Your site changes, the answers follow: Starter re-reads it every week, Growth every day and Scale every hour.
Questions it couldn’t answer wait in your dashboard, with a count. Answer each one once, and from then on it knows.
01
Instead of guessing, it says it doesn’t know and can offer your contact form.
02
With the form on, every lead reaches you by email, with a link to the conversation.

In Insights the question waits with a count. Add it as a Q&A: type the answer or let it suggest one from your content.
04
The answer is indexed right away and comes with its source, like every other answer.
In this category the chat goes quiet when the allowance runs out: on your live site, in front of a customer who was about to buy.

A heavier model counts as a few messages. Every plan on this page counts one answer as one message, so Starter’s 750 messages are 750 answers. Heavier models come with Enterprise. See the rates
Top-ups: $9 per 1,000 messages.
One answer from the assistant. What the visitor types is free, and so is clicking a suggested question.
Trial and Starter answer with GPT-6 Luna. On Growth and Scale you choose GPT-6 Luna or Claude Haiku 5.5, and every answer is still one message. On Enterprise you can pick any model, and the heavier ones count as several messages: Gemini 3.5 Flash as 5, Claude Sonnet 5.5 as 20 and Claude Opus 5.5 as 50. The rate is shown next to each model when you choose, and nothing changes without your decision.
Nothing breaks. The assistant keeps answering, you get a banner in your dashboard, and you choose between a $9 top-up for 1,000 messages and a bigger plan.
It answers only from the material you give it, and an answer from your website carries a link to the page it came from. When the answer isn’t there, it says so and offers your contact details instead of guessing. The question lands in your dashboard so you can fill the gap.
Not from your website alone: that information isn’t on any page, and the assistant won’t invent it. It says so and can offer your contact form instead.
PDF (scans too), Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), CSV, TXT, Markdown and photos in JPG, PNG or WEBP, up to 50 MB per file. Files have their own page allowance, separate from website pages: a PDF page or a photo is one page, and in other files about 3,000 characters make a page. Text in scans and photos is read by an AI model, on every plan at no extra cost. We don’t keep the file itself, only the text read from it, which you can check and correct in your dashboard.
On servers in Germany (EU). To make your content searchable, our embedding provider converts its text into search vectors. Each question is converted on our own server in Germany and goes to that provider only as a fallback. To write an answer, the question and the matching excerpts of your content go to the provider of the AI model that writes it, and for that model we route only to providers that don’t collect request data. The DPA and the list of subprocessors are linked in the footer. Your pages are never used to train models.
